Our Team

Jill Rodriguez

Jill grew up in Hawaii and attended Iolani School, one of the top college prep schools in the state. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Jill started her career as an RF Engineer at Verizon and worked as a Senior Manager at Sprint and Nortel. She completed an MBA in Finance at the University of Dallas and worked as an engineer and senior executive in several companies within the aerospace and medical device industries.

Jill’s passion has always been to serve her community. She has been a member of the Gifted and Talented Advisory Council at the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD for several years. Jill also works as an Instructor for a non-profit organization serving the needs of adults with disabilities.

Jill enjoys reading, playing volleyball, African drumming/dancing and spending time with her family.

Jorge Rodriguez

Jorge grew up in Puerto Rico, where he attended the University of Puerto Rico High School. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez and proceeded to complete a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. Jorge started his professional career as a design engineer at Motorola and Nokia, working with wireless network devices and smartphones. Jorge completed an MBA in Marketing Management at the University of Dallas and spent the rest of his career as a Senior Manager in the telecom, transportation and gaming industries.

Jorge was elected to the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) Board of Education in 2008 and was re-elected by popular vote in 2011, 2014 and 2017. He was GCISD’s Board President in 2012 and 2013. Jorge was one of the architects of GCISD’s current strategic plan, LEAD 2021. He also chairs the Site Based Decision Making committee at the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in downtown Dallas.

Jorge's passion is to significantly improve the educational experience of all students, as we prepare them for successful college and professional careers. Jorge enjoys reading, coaching youth basketball and spending time with his family.
